I was commissioned by The Times, to illustrate the front cover of their Student Law supplement. I chose to use the idea of the students trying to stay afloat in the face of cuts and struggling to cling on as their funding is being cut around them. I wanted the image to be fairly abstract, bold and bright as it was a front cover image and needed to fill a large space.
