I’ve designed a kit for Let’s Make Cards Magazine, published by Aceville Publishing, which will be on sale from Friday 30 March.

This is the first kit I have designed for them, on the theme of ‘Best of British’ and it features patterned papers, sentiments, diecut elements, ribbons and embellishments…everything you could need to create a whole heap of original greetings cards!

I was asked to design the kit for the special 50th issue of the magazine, to coincide with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and London Olympics. I chose to draw lots of London icons such as the red bus, post box, pigeon and tube sign along with royal images and a mix of floral elements which could be used alongside previous kits by subscribers.

This project has been one of the most enjoyable ones I have completed over the past year and I’m excited to see the next issue which I have also designed the kit for, published in May!
