Little chicken

The advantage of working with 3d models is that I am always able to go back to a previous model and adjust anything according to what I’ve learned in time or if a model is needed for something else. This little chicken, part of a series about the development of a chicken in an egg, is one of those models I frequently try to improve. This time I improved the details of the skin and the translucency of it. I made it more fragile looking.

The feathers I draw in Photoshop because I’m still not pleased with how I generate the feathers in Blender. One day I hope to resolve that too.
