I am an illustrator and writer living in Rhode Island.   I use a traditional technique; often a combination of watercolors, oils, and acrylic paint.  I love color and line, and I pay particular attention to detail and composition.
I studied illustration and fine arts at Syracuse University, and creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College.  I am a member of SCBWI (The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), and I am most happy when surrounded by books.
