In 2010 I completed my studies at the University of Northampton where I achieved a first class degree in Illustration.

My passion is illustrating narrative, and when it comes children's' picture books I believe in not shying away from the darker aspects of life such as loneliness, loss, fears and anxieties. I believe that picture books can be a great tool in helping children understand the world around them and as such shouldn't shy away from difficult subjects. 
As well as illustrating darker subject matter I'm often drawn to themes of the bizarre, the supernatural or themes from historical, theatrical or literary culture.

My interests range from picture book illustration to editorial illustration to book covers, and i'm always keen to take on challenges and unusual projects.
