“"Stuart Harrison is a cartoon visionary. He's personally one of the most influential artists I've encountered...as a teenager I met 'Stu' and was blown away by his complex world of bizarre characters and fantastic creations. His unique approach to color and characterization make him a goldmine for the luscious aesthetic so thirsted for in our modern culture. It's an honor to work with him & the results of our collaboration are stunning.”
— Tristan Eaton, creative director of both Kidrobot and Thunderdog studios in the US.
About Stuart Harrison.
I'm a professional illustrator with 20 years experience in publishing, comics, website design, toy design and developing original ip and children's animated TV show concepts. I specialise in cartoons and cross platform character design.
I've illustrated ELT books for Scholastic, 'The Skate Park After Dark' and 'The Graffiti Ghost' based on Spooky Skaters, a property I co-developed and originally drew as regular Spooky Skaters comic strips for TOXIC and Dandy Xtreme magazines.
I currently draw regular, original comic strips, 'Dinoboy' and 'Turbo Racer' for Signature Publishing. Signature also published a long-running series of 'Lucky Cookie' comic strips based on another property I co-developed with my partner, writer, Angela Salt.
Together we set up Fun Crew in 2006, an independent studio specialising in content creation for children's media.
Fun Crew's latest global production partner is Technicolor. We're working with them to develop an adorable animated comedy we've created for children aged 4-7.
