This is an illustration for the book “A Circus Mind”, by Ryan W. Cox. After a brush with death in Twist, Arkansas, B.B. King named his guitar (and all of his guitars thereafter) “Lucille”. It’s quite a story. Seek it out on YouTube to hear King tell the tale! Ryan has filled “A Circus Mind” with poems inspired by some of the greatest songs, musicians, and bands of all time. It’s a terrifically fun project to work on. I can’t wait to share it once it’s done!
