Editorial illustration ‘modern mobility’ for Dutch Elsevier Weekly. The article deals with the fact that a car is not a ‘must have status symbol’ anymore for the new generation business people.

Normally I try to keep my illustrations as ‘simple’ as possible. This time however the art director wanted to see all forms of transport together on one spread (45 cm wide) illustration. So this time it’s more or less less is more…

A small additional illustration (12 cm wide ) was also required. I think I managed to press the same message in this small size as well.

So here’s two ways of illustrational approach for the same article.
