Superstition group show at Art Schism

It’s group show time again at the Art Schism gallery, running to coincide with Brighton’s May Festival! The theme of the show is ‘superstition’ and this is my submission, which I’ve produced as a limited edition print. There’s heaps of fascinating folklore and superstition surrounding magpies so I thought they’d be a great subject, and their striking appearance is an added bonus – their predominantly black & white colouring led me to make a more stripped-down and monochromatic piece than most of my work, which I really enjoyed.

The gallery can be found at 87 Gloucester Road, Brighton, BN1 4AP (UK) and is open every day – do pop in if you’re in the area, there’s a lot of brilliant stuff to see!
