CueB Open Exhibition

My piece new piece “The cats of Cadaques”, was selected for the annual CueB open submission exhibition. My illustration was based on my visit to the seaside town of Cadaques in Spain, which is inhabited by large numbers of cats both in this piece and in real life, so I have represented the entire scene in cats (including a jazz cat, Cheshire cat and Dali cat) enjoying a night under the stars. The show is being held at the Brockley Mess cafe till 21st March and aims to celebrate the talent of South London.

Vicky is friendly and creative, and her style is bright, fun and very eye-catching. Working in stages from rough concept to finished art, she was open to feedback and willing to accommodate amends and a couple of extras along the way. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and hope I get the opportunity again in the near future.
