Last month, I was asked to create a series of illustrations depicting how someone showing symptoms of Ebola could be remotely observed by doctors using SuperVision MD’s system of remote medical imaging cameras. Three panels were drawn, and combined on into one image. Coloring and text was done in Photoshop. The illustration was also to be used in an Op Ed piece by former senator Tom Daschle, and so the project had a quick turn around date. To make a compelling colored illustration within a tight deadline, I went with a style similar to that of the emergency procedures card found in the back of an airplane seat.
