Imaginism In-House Workshop

In November last year, I had the honour of attending Imaginism’s In-House Workshop for 4 weeks. It was painting every day with lessons and about 4 hours of homework. We went right back to the fundamentals of painting, but made it very intense. We had plane and colour studies, nightly character designs, lessons on traditional painting and professionalism. We had a lot of fun and made some great friends, including Thierry Lafontaine and Peter Chan, both senior artists of Imaginism Studios. In fact, I made such good friends with Thierry, I’ve been asked to return to Montreal this summer to take up my new job as his assistant! We will be releasing an art book in the coming year! Watch this space!

“Working with Kirsten was a delight. She was very accommodating of our needs on this project, prompt to respond to our request, and very professional. Working with her was very collaborative and I was impressed by her ideas and creative solutions. She was also very welcoming of feedback and worked well to follow our brief. It was a pleasure to work with her.”
