This was a project I was fully involved in last year as lead concept artist. I worked with the brilliant team Shy The Sun at our Cape Town studio. We were tasked to bring League of Legends “Amumu” to life in a short movie on his back history and powers. I was responsible for environment concepts and individual design elements. I created several thumbnail suggestions for the look and feel and then developed the environment further in layers to be animated in After Effects. The team was directed by Ree Treweek and included mostly Christiaan Venter, Jose Vega, Ben Winfield and myself. All the designs published here are my own.

Caroline is an absolute pleasure to work with. It is exceedingly rare to find someone in the creative world who is as talented as she is professional, running her business to the highest standard whilst exceeding her clients’ expectations. She interprets briefs incredibly well, taking great direction without needing much guidance. Caroline goes above and beyond, working hard to make seemingly impossible deadlines. But the main reason I choose to work with Caroline is her phenomenal talent, that manifests into brilliant works of art.
