Here’s my latest piece, ‘Manhattan in the 60s’! When I found this image, I instantly thought it would be a perfect companion piece to one of my best selling pieces, ‘Piccadilly Circus in the 60s’. As you can see in the painting, we have the usual antics and everyday goings on with the little people. The advertising is all from the sixties as well, along with authentic sixties’ cars. It’s been a while since I’ve painted a city scene due to other commissions and experimenting with other pieces of work and styles, but it’s great to be back painting what I truly love. It’s been extremely fun painting this one, and I think it’s turned out really well.
