Snakes and Ladders, British Asian Trust.

This illustration was commissioned by the British Asian Trust. The image is part of a pitch they have launched to acquire funding from Deutsche Bank in order to help keep up their charitable works. The idea here was to create a piece that looked like a mock Snakes and Ladders board game. I wanted to infuse the board with energy and contrast, splitting the negativity of poverty with the positivity of potential and brake down the traditional square tile format. Some tiles illustrate specific events and charities the Trust is involved with in its goal to help raise people from poverty, while others tiles track the progress of two children as they ascend from poverty into success.
