One of my goals for 2016 is to finally do the projects I have had floating around for a long time. One of them is to start a blog that would encourage me to get up early and start the day with reading and drawing (two things I need to do more of), and that would be my attempt at bringing current innovations in science to a younger audience. As a kid, I always got to hear what my parents were working on, and I think that is what sparked my interest in science, not my classes.

Each morning I find a new science story in the news, read it, illustrate it, summarize it so that younger children can understand it, and post it by 9am.
