Hungry for Love

At the end of last year I was contacted to design a book cover for “Hungry for Love”, the new novel by Lucy Beresford telling the story of love, weddings and most importantly baking! I took the 1960’s show Bewitched as my inspiration to create a cute but stylish design combining a fashionable heroine, a city skyline and lots of cupcakes, all made in my paper-cut collage style, including most of the type! The book is now on sale.

Vicky is friendly and creative, and her style is bright, fun and very eye-catching. Working in stages from rough concept to finished art, she was open to feedback and willing to accommodate amends and a couple of extras along the way. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and hope I get the opportunity again in the near future.
