If you pushed me to say which is my favourite Doctor Who ‘monster’ then those metallic Frankenstein monsters from Mondas, the Cybermen, would be my answer. I was thrilled to be asked to create a piece for the Doctor Who Monster Month this October to help celebrate the 50 years since they first appeared battling the Doctor in the 1966 story The Tenth Planet.
