A Map of Brighton and Hove

It’s Festival time in Brighton at the moment, so what better time to showcase a brand new illustration print dedicated to my home city. The map is full of famous landmarks like the Pavilion and Palace Pier, crazy characters, some real and some imagined (spot a ukulele playing mermaid, a unicorn on a skateboard and Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Caroll was inspired to create the story after staying in Kemp Town). You can see the artwork in real life for the next three weekends as part of Artists Open Houses, 11-5pm at 45 Westbourne Gardens, Hove, or visit my Etsy shop.

Vicky is friendly and creative, and her style is bright, fun and very eye-catching. Working in stages from rough concept to finished art, she was open to feedback and willing to accommodate amends and a couple of extras along the way. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and hope I get the opportunity again in the near future.
