Journal Writing for Alzheimer’s Patients

After doing a bit of research, it occurred to me that writing in a journal could be a helpful way for Alzheimer’s patients to recover lost memories. Or perhaps journal writing could be helpful in staving off the onset of Alzheimer’s Disease, in the way that working crosswords or solving Sudoku problems is said to do, only better. It would be a highly individualized way to keep an ageing brain active. I’m sure this is not a unique idea, but hopefully, there haven’t been too many artists to illustrate the concept (yet)!
