Illustration for Crime Fiction Short Story

A few months back I had the pleasure of creating another illustration for Crimson Streets Magazine, an online literary publication of short horror and suspense fiction. The story assigned to me was “The LaFierra Job”, written by Nick Swain, a crime story that took place in the early ’60s which worked perfectly with my pulp illustration style. I decided to pick a scene that I felt worked best to be shown in a dramatic, hard boiled illustration style.
