Earlier in September of this year, I was notified that my painting “Cali-Burbia” had earned an Honorable Mention in the 2017 Sausalito Art Festival‘s American Icon art competition. The American Icon Competition is held every year and this year’s theme was “Forgotten America, People, Places, Things”.

The winners were selected from thousands of submissions and winners received cash prizes in addition to having their work displayed on digital displays at the Sausalito Art Festival. Sausalito is located just north of San Francisco, California. I am still very thrilled that I received this recognition of my work and look forward to future art exhibition opportunities.

"I would like to give a shout out to Roger Betka, he just finish my band's EP artwork, and he went above and beyond. He was always punctual about responding, and very easy to talk to. He even gave it to me before the deadline. 5 stars easily. Would highly recommend."
