Rainwater Management Illustrations for Futurewise

Whew! This latest commission required 30 plus pen and ink illustrations for Futurewise. These images will be used in a soon-to-be-launched public educational program to promote responsible and efficient rainwater management in suburban areas. These illustrations needed to show various drainage systems and green solutions applied to certain suburban areas such as yards, parking lots, and streets.

There was a good amount of research and discussion with the art director, engineers and committee members to ensure accurate information. I was pleased to be involved in such an awesome project!

Testimonial
Amanda Zimmerman has a great understanding of color, proportions and layout of a children's color picture book. She executed well and on time. I'd recommend her work to anyone interested in animals, historical topics, or general children's picture books.
