This personal piece was inspired by the crazy antics of three dwarf mongooses at the Washington DC National Zoo. Just for my own enjoyment I changed the antelope skull to something a little more… special; and added a regional butterfly being hunted to add a little tension to the composition.

Testimonial
Amanda Zimmerman has a great understanding of color, proportions and layout of a children's color picture book. She executed well and on time. I'd recommend her work to anyone interested in animals, historical topics, or general children's picture books.
