New book cover design

It´s now official: the Swedish book “21 truths about love” (21 sanningar om kärlek) will be available in selected book stores in Sweden in the coming days. I was approached by a Swedish public speaker and writer about his upcoming book about love last year, 2017. It was in December when we finally met in real life. We signed the contracts and I started working on the illustrations and book cover design.

It was not an entirely easy process, because how do you illustrate an image that is also going to be used as a map, a guide, when the writer and public speaker Mikael Sandlin is going to travel around and talk about love. And how do you create a book cover design with that map in full view on the front cover. I feel that the book cover design came out quite nicely, and I can’t wait to hold the physical book in my hand. It was inspiring and fun to work with Miakel Sandlin. And I can’t wait to do it again!
