Cover art for “If This Goes On”, a collection of short stories edited by Cat Rambo. This was one of my most challenging cover assignments to date as we didn’t have any text to work off of at the time, but rather a theme that would connect multiple stories together. Because of that, I wanted to avoid portraying what seemed like too specific a protagonist or scenario so I leaned into more of a mood-based conceptual image that would get the viewer to ask “What happened?”
