Salt Lines: illustration and an interview for Strange Horizons

One of my recent projects was to illustrate the short story “Salt Lines” by Ian Muneshwar for Strange Horizons. I really enjoyed the chance to work with such an emotionally complex and haunting story. My goal was to retain some of the tension and anxiety while still having the artwork be fundamentally hopeful, promising a brighter future for the character.
