To make sure our tools don’t get rusty we try to use them as often as we can. For this reason, I sought out the Square Carousel, an illustration collective that helps people find a community and keep others working on small projects to flex those illustrator’s muscles. The latest challenge was loosely about what summer reminds you of. It could be a place, or a food, feeling, or just something summery, an exercise in personal exploration if you will. I chose to illustrate the feeling I felt about owning my first home. Finally a place with a permanent address and detailed the way I like it!
