Interior artwork for Little Moss, Big Tree picture book
Posted 1 year ago and submitted by Mariya Prytula | Share link: http://illo.cc/77105

I promised a while ago to share the interior illustrations from my second picture book, Little Moss, Big Tree, that has successfully funded on Kickstarter.

The illustrations were created with traditional watercolor technique and digital editing, which gives me the flexibility to make minor changes once the illustration has been finished.

I also made a video regarding the process that you can see above or on my Youtube channel.

Mariya has the exceptional ability to make fantasy more vivid and vibrant. I love the subtle texture and the outrageous detail and realism, as well as the simplicity of it. _________ The illustrations in Little Moss, Big Tree are outstanding. Light pastel watercolors fill the page and invite the reader to escape and all the trees, snail, animals, and leaves are illustrated accurately with soft hues of color. __________ You taught me what was possible and expected when working with other artists. You were so patient with me while working through an unfamiliar etiquette. It was a real kindness.
