Taxi Driver Film Poster

Recently finished personal piece for one of my favourite films, Taxi Driver (1976), directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro. In my opinion one of the most influential films in the history of modern cinema. The main influences from the film that I used within the design of the poster were the opening credits, and also the iconic military jacket and mohican that De Niro’s character Travis Bickle adopts for the final part of the film. I used a mixture of traditional drawing and print-making techniques, along with a dash of digital to finish it all off. I intend to make this into a series of posters for more of my favourite films in 2019… Watch this space!
