The ships of the lost Franklin Expedition, HMS Erebus and HMS Terror, are shown in the Canadian Arctic in 1845-46. The Franklin Expedition is my favorite historical mystery which I have explored in a graphic novel (“Im Eisland”, published in Germany) as well as several watercolor and ink paintings.
