Girl power! Zap, POW, ping and a bit of zing! Here’s a recent character design for a client’s picture book. I can’t give too much away, but she’s a quirky, crazy character that appears in a wonderfully funny and rather eccentric story. The client didn’t mind whether I created her digitally or conventionally. I opted for conventional and painted her in watercolours with some digital work to get the look the client was hoping to achieve. This resulted in one happy client.
