I am proud to announce the re-release of my pocket-sized picture book for adults: 50 Happy Things To Look At When Everything Sucks.
I made the book as a sort of therapeutic exercise during a personally tumultuous time and have found that it still serves as a surprisingly comforting bit of comic relief when I need to give my worries a break. I have been quite moved to hear stories from my readers using this little book during their own tough times and feel honored to have been able to inspire a smile for those needing one.
I think my book’s synopsis sums it up best:
“Sometimes things suck… But that’s why kittens, gloppy gingerbread houses, favorite mugs, cuttlefish and other disgustingly happy things exist; to comfort us in times of… suckery. So sit back, relax, adjust your eyeballs for a rose-colored overload, and enjoy a slightly less sucky existence.”
