Book Reviews for The Big Issue

I recently had a little illo in The Big Issue. It was for their book reviews section, and centred on a review of The Border by Don Winslow. The final instalment of his ‘Cartel’ trilogy, it’s a heavyweight tale focussing on Mexican drug cartels and their conflict with the USA’s Drug Enforcement Administration, and despite the somewhat joyless subject matter it was a fun topic to illustrate, thanks in part to the excellent art direction of Ross Lesley-Bayne.
