This is my contribution to Hire An Illustrator’s Jules Verne Expo showing in London at The Framer’s Gallery the second week of April, 2019. Twenty thousand leagues under the sea. Give or take a league. Of the movies made from Jules Verne novels, this one in 1954 by Disney had the most star power. I couldn’t pass up the chance to draw Kirk Douglas and Peter Lorre. I love golden age Americana/old Hollywood so this one was the best fit for me. I wish I could be there to see them all in person. Such a fun concept! Pencil, watercolor, digital.
