Travel Sketches

Last winter, I took about a month off to travel to Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and China. It was a great experience all in all with most days spent walking from early morning to late at night. I made a concerted effort to document the trip by drawing at the end of every day. We would return to our hotels fairly late to maximize our time out and then I’d get straight to drawing, usually for about 2-3 hours, before turning in for the night to wake up at 7am and do it all over again. I definitely could have used the extra sleep but it was well worth it. Here are a few of my favorites.
