Branding design & illustration for a theatre company: La Ravalera

Logo, illustration, poster, flyers and leaflets designed for the company in its first mircrotheatre festival.

The logo is a simple and effective illustration inspired in the character of La Ravalera. This chapter of “Ravalera” is about an old woman who used to live in a small village called “Raval” in a latin country. She is a person who used to work as a housewife, going to the market every day holding a basket for her daily food shopping, strolling down the streets of the village and talking with everyone who she found on her way. In most cases it is said that her character is a bit blunt, but spontaneous and friendly at the same time.
The illustration design for the poster and leaflets is intended to represent the first edition of the festival, which was the main image to promote the show. This illustration was inspired by the “Ravalera chapter” and also took the essence of Castellón, the small city where the festival was held.
