A Spooky Halloween eBook for Kids

This was a very fun and enjoyable project for a new educational publishing client. I had several ebooks to do but I think this one was my favorite. The storyline follows families as they begin decorating their houses with pumpkins, cob webs, bats, skeletons and tombstones. As the sun sets, trick or treaters set out with their parents (flashlights in hand-safety first!) for candy and treats. Once the kids get home they share, divide and count their candy and gather for an end of the night “photo”.

The book is 16 pages and teaches the reader about the basics of the Halloween holiday, sharing and counting. I loved designing the cute kids and their costumes as well as the night time neighborhood. A great chance to explore nifty colors and new brushes!
