Teapot Landmarks of Sheffield

I’ve been creating a brand new range of greeting cards, prints and coasters to celebrate my new home city of Sheffield. I’ve created four finished designs so far, focusing on some of my favourite sights: The Botanical Gardens, Kelham Island, The Crucible Theatre and the Winter Gardens, as well as the people and animals who use the areas (there is a dog in each design so far, Sheffield has a lot of dogs!).

There is a twist to this series, as each location is in disguise as a teapot! I made sure that each teapot fitted the location, so the Botanical Gardens has a nice oriental one and the Crucible has a much more modernist one. I thought this was particularly apt as everyone loves tea, especially in Yorkshire, although I will be continuing the range to include other cities in the UK. Watch this space!

Vicky is friendly and creative, and her style is bright, fun and very eye-catching. Working in stages from rough concept to finished art, she was open to feedback and willing to accommodate amends and a couple of extras along the way. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and hope I get the opportunity again in the near future.
