While cover artist and friend Aly Fell was taking some much needed time, I was invited to create two covers for Hugo-award winning author Seanan McGuire’s InCryptid Series. It was very important to get the style and faces right so that these covers fit with the previous six books and that the characters were recognizable to the readers. I greatly enjoyed the challenging lighting of “Tricks for Free” and collaborated with Seanan herself to get real mathematics to work with for “Imaginary Numbers”.
