My Latest Commission

This illustration was a commission to be given as a congratulatory gift for a close friend who is tall and lanky like a giraffe. The client wanted to be drawn as a pig, and also to add a capybara that they adopted from Wildlife Adoption WWF-Canada. Animals are so fun to draw!

I think it is very thoughtful for a person to have a custom portrait done for someone as a gift for any occasion. Having done some other portrait commissions as wedding gifts and birthdays, to me, it is a great opportunity to improve on capturing a likeness.

You can see more portrait commissions I have done in my HAI portfolio and on Instagram
