Welcome to Evergrim

I’m so excited to announce that in 2020 I will be heading out on a quest! I would like you to join me on my adventure through the world of Evergrim.

With your help we can lead our hero to uncover the truth about his father’s disappearance. I want us to make decisions on where to go, how and what to pack, and which characters are hiding a secret. I will draw you maps, show you characters and hidden secrets. Together we can explore taverns, fight marauders and steal gold.

This is a personal project that I have been working on over the last six months. The inspiration is everything I loved as a child (and still love). If you have enjoyed choose your own adventures or Dungeons and Dragons (even Where’s Wally), you will love my new visual RPG. It is world building on an epic and collaborative scale.

As rewards, and an excuse to do all the things that interest me, I am giving everyone that joins:
– An ongoing RPG lit novel, which your ideas help write.
– Illustrations to all the crazy plans you have for the character. For example, if you send him into a cave, I will paint you what it looks like and, depending on how prepared you made the hero, I will illustrate whether it was a wise idea.
– For the world builders and game developers I am creating 2d painted isometric elements and for anyone who loves maps I am creating one epic growing map of the world.

I hope you enjoy seeing my project and I look forward to having everyone take part.

Meg
