COVID-19 Spot Illustration: Even So
Posted 6 months ago and submitted by Jennifer Bruce | Share link:

This piece was created in response to the current situation with COVID-19 and HAI’s call for related illustrations. It was a study in personal style and color choice, and I love the result! It was created in Photoshop, using Paletton (color palette generator website) for color reference.

The illustration is meant to serve as a reminder that even in the darkest of times there are fundamental things that remain to keep us going – hope, faith, and the steadfastness of our Creator’s love. These things mean that even the worst of circumstances will be used for good and to bring about new life.

Jennifer took some vague ideas I had and turned them into the best cover art of any of my books so far. She was super easy to work with, and she truly cares about the quality of the final product. I'll be certain to work with her in future!
