Growing Minds Learning Center Cute and Cuddly Animals

I was recently commissioned by my son’s daycare to do a few illustrations to add a little fun to his classroom. I was asked to do a pair of kids in illustrations of them reading together and another of them playing with blocks. It had been a while since I’d done any kind of cute animal characters so I suggested that the boy be a little teddy bear and the girl be a cuddly rabbit. They agreed and I was off and running.

Not only did I really love the way these pieces came out but it was especially fun to do something for my son and his friends through these really trying times.

In these odd and uncertain times it was great to do something for the kids who have to go to daycare each day while their working parents (who can’t work from home) are out there helping us all get through this.

I just hope the art brings a smile to everyone’s face.

"Sean is an amazing artist with a long list of his own accolades but I especially appreciate his patience with me through this project. He never complained when we went from long gaps of waiting periods to sudden short deadlines that he always met early. He also did an amazing job of blending the original artwork for the game with his more polished and playful touch."
