Children’s Book Illustration for The Heart Keeps the Beat

Last year I was commissioned to do the illustrations for a charming and musical board book titled “The Heart Keeps the Beat” written by Alexis Novak.

“The Heart Keeps the Beat – A rhythmic lesson on the human body, how its parts work together, and what happens if they fall out of harmony! The heart is the beat keeper, jamming on the drums bum-bum-bum-bum, the lungs backup the heart hee-huff-hee-huff, and so on! Enjoy this funky journey of the human body, and watch as each piece plays a vital role in our anatomical jam band!”

I came across a stand-out talent like Nadia this year and I hired her as a freelance illustrator after seeing her online portfolio. I was particularly impressed by Nadia's ability to handle our milestones even if there were thousands of miles between us. She delivered gorgeous and professional illustrations for our book "Grandma and Strawberry" You will be happy to have her in your team, hire her you won't regret it.
