Isometric art of colonial style grain mill and surrounding site buildings

I was commissioned to create a strategic roadmap for Premier FMCG who had just acquired a grain mill in Mozambique called CIM (Companhia Industrial da Matola). It is a beautiful industrial site from an era when even industrial assets conformed to an aesthetic ideal. Most of the workers who are affected by this change of ownership are partly or completely illiterate. Consequently it was necessary to show the site and it’s buildings as accurately as possible to get people to identify with the company and buy into its new ethos. I took great pleasure in faithfully re-creating the architecture for the roadmap. Recreating this beautiful old mill could never be a grind!

Rob is just one of those guys that immediately puts you at ease. No matter what kind of brief or deadline, I know that Rob will not only ‘get it’ straight away, but add to and refine it. The first draft is always three steps ahead of where it should be and the end result is nothing short of incredible. He is versatile, intelligent, focused and more creative than is necessarily fair on us mere mortals…
