Space Oddity – Affinity
Posted 2 years ago and submitted by Scott Balmer | Share link:

I worked with software maker Affinity to put together the illustration above for their 100 days, 100 commissions campaign.

I moved away from Illustrator and over to Affinity Designer at some point last year, since the app offered more features that interested me and at a one-off price compared to the subscription model which plagues other software these days. I was also interviewed for Affinity’s Spotlight website which talks about me and my work as well as my experiences with applications like Designer. It was really great working on this piece.

People may not know that I have a separate website for my vector work where my more graphic pieces can be seen, which also gives both styles more breathing space and a chance to shine on their own merits.
