Claude Debussy – Clair de lune

I created this image to mark the birthday of French composer Claude Debussy. The inspiration for the look came from his piano piece Clair de lune, which translates to English literally as “Light of the Moon”. I chose to use a cool palette to create that feeling of a quiet moonlit night.

This is one in my ongoing “Happy Birthday” series.

Claude Debussy was born August 22 1862 and died in 1918.
