I was asked to create a DnD themed illustration and naturally I accepted. It didn’t feature any monsters or sorcerers, but a ranger of the woods with his panther companion. I’m glad with how it turned out. Together with the client we worked out several scenes until we came to the desired mood and setting. After the sketching phase, I painted it out and with a few tweaks we ended up with this result.
