Series of “Shared Language” graphics for Shenandoah University’s President’s Representatives of Inclusion, Diversity, & Equity (PRIDE) intended for educational presentations across the university’s campus, and to other university-affiliated groups. These graphics portray the concepts of Diversity, Inclusion, Inequality, Equality, Equity, and Justice utilizing Shenandoah icons, mascots, and branding.
Through Shenandoah-inspired imagery such as the hill-valley swoosh, the dual stars, and the Sarah’s Glen pavilion, in addition to the bug-like characters created to mimic the Shenandoah ‘Buzzy the Hornet’ mascot, I was able to create a series of illustrations that communicated these complicated definitions in a well-designed and clear fashion.
